Dr Job shot from the lip

THE EDITOR: Dr Morgan Job walked this land like a colossus.

I have known Job for 25 years. Our paths crossed at the Bomb Newspaper in Curepe. Since that time we remained casual friends.

Job was a man who loved TT and wanted to see a well run country like Singapore, which he often referenced in his dialogue or writings.

However, Job was unique as a “political gunslinger” who shot from the hip. Or is that lip? He told it like it is, and who vex “lorse.” He harboured no ill will towards his fellow man, or critic.

Job lived his famous quote “see God in every face.” He never suffered fools gladly and had very little time for “stupid talk.”

This former QRC grad loved to debate on a wide range of topics, among them pan and calypso, often using humour in conversation to deliver.

Condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace, “Morgie.”
