TWO men from Princes Town are expected to appear in court this morning jointly charged with the murder of 29-year-old Daniel Cooper, a father of one from Vistabella. Yesterday evening Assistant DPP Joan Honore -Paul advised Homicide police to charge the men.

Honore-Paul also advised that two other men who were held in connection with the murder be released.

Legal adviser at the Homicide Region Three PC Kyrn Lewis had submitted the file a few days ago to the office of the DPP for instruction .

On Monday last week, Cooper left his workplace at Esau Oilfield in Gulf View, La Romaine to go to a day care centre in Palmiste to collect his three year old daughter but he never made it. A missing person’s report was filed by relatives. Two days later, his decomposing body was found with a gunshot wound to the back of his head in bush at Borde Narve. Cooper was cremated on Monday after a funeral service at Faith Centre in San Fernando.
