Boodansingh tops at 2018 PKATT season opener

AIDAN BOODANSINGH was the top Martial Arts athlete at the PKATT Sport Martial Arts Association 2018 season opener held at the Chaguanas Regional Indoor Sport Arena last Sunday.

Boodansingh tallied the most points on the day with 30.

On the day, PKATT Sport Martial Arts Association of Trinidad and Tobago launched its 2018 tournament circuit with the WAKO TRINBAGO FIGHT SERIES 1.

Participating clubs were Golden Eagle, East Side Martial Arts Academy, Amenophis Martial Arts, Master Lara Acade-my of Tiger System and Academy of Contemporary Martial Arts.

This event will serve as the prelude to the forthcoming WAKO Trinidad and Tobago Central America and Caribbean Open (CAC OPEN) carded for July 12-15 at the Cascadia Hotel and Conference Centre, which will be followed by the WAKO Pan American Championships in Mexico in October 2018.

At the WAKO TRINBAGO FIGHT SERIES 1, Golden Eagle emerged as the top club garnering 249 points. East Side Martial Arts Academy earned 95 points, while Amenophis Martial Arts had 61 points, Master Lara Academy of Tiger System 22 points and Academy of Contemporary Martial Arts 19 points.
