Insulting Stag ad

THE EDITOR: The most condescending, chauvinistic ad I have seen in a long time was the Stag ad appearing full page, full colour, in the newspapers on International Women’s Day, saying, “Today, every woman is invited to this Stag.” When they first started their man’s beer campaign years ago, I stopped drinking their beer. This ad, inviting women to be an honorary man for one day, reminds me of the South African apartheid days when cricketers were allowed to be honorary whites so they could play to their audiences. People actually approved this ad?
