PRIME Minister Dr Keith Rowley met with a high-level delegation from EOG Resources (EOG) at the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM), St Clair.

The OPM, in a press release, noted that EOG, the third largest gas producer in TT, has been operating locally for more than 25 years and is actively expanding operations and increasing their investment here.

The OPM said this meeting, held on Wednesday, was a follow-up to Rowley’s visit to Houston last March, where he met with EOG Chairman and CEO William Thomas and other executives at the energy company’s headquarters. During this visit, Thomas indicated to Rowley that, “EOG was moving apace to ramp up production and they remain focused on TT.”

The EOG delegation also included VP and GM, International Pat Woods, COO Lloyd Helms, President, Executive Operations, Gary Thomas, Executive VP, Exploration and Production, David Trice and MD, EOG Resources Trinidad Ltd, George Vieira. Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister and in the Ministry of the Attorney General and Legal Affairs, Stuart Young also attended the meeting.
