Bagatelle man murdered

A 28-year-old man is the nation’s 86th murder victim.

He has been identified as Nathaniel Russell of Bagatelle Road, Diego Martin.

According to reports, relatives heard loud explosions at his home on Holder Lane, and when they checked, they found him bleeding on the kitchen floor.

Family members took him to the St James Medical facility, but he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Relatives were reluctant to speak to members of the media, but police told Newsday he was not known to them for any illegal activities.

Homicide detectives are trying to find a motive behind his killing.
