Angel missing

RELATIVES of 15-year-old Angel Bonnell, who attends the St Augustine Senior Comprehensive School, are pleading with the public to help find her.

Speaking with Newsday yesterday, Bonnell’s grandmother Joan Francis, 66, said Bonnell was last seen on January 27 at 8.30 am, at the home of one her aunts in Kelly Village, Caroni.

Francis said Bonnell was wearing her school uniform – a light green shirt and dark green skirt.

She said since Bonnell’s disappearance, reports were made at the Caroni and Chaguanas police stations.

“I am a mother of seven and I have never experienced this in my entire life raising children,” Francis said. “I was given full custody of Angel since her father died. I recently had surgery and I am not feeling good about this. Angel’s mother and I are trying to locate her and right now our family is praying for her to return home safely.”

Francis said she was also going to file a missing-person report at the Arima police station today.

“I am pleading with anyone, please help us find Angel. She normally lives with another aunt in Bains Avenue, San Juan, to be closer to school. We don’t know much of her friends, so we are planning to go to the school today to speak with some of her classmates. Angel is an only child, and it is really hard for the entire family at this time.”

Francis said anyone with information can contact her at 316-7009/ 326-2441 or the police.
