THE EDITOR: The action taken by the National Gas Company to cut off the gas supply to the Caribbean Nitrogen Company is reminiscent of the attitude adopted in Venezuela a few years ago.

The evidence of what this type of behaviour brings is clear for all to see — a bankrupt country in social turmoil.
