Aranguez man killed while sitting in car

The vehicle of 37-year-old Dave Babwah who was shot and killed near his Aranguez home last night.

A 37-year-old Aranguez man was shot dead on Wednesday night while sitting in his car outside his home at the corner of Aranguez Savannah Road and Garden Road.

Reports are that at about 8.30 pm, Dave Babwah was approached from behind by a gunman who shot him several times in the head before escaping in a waiting vehicle.

Police said Babwah was known to them as a person of interest in several drug-related offences but have yet to establish a motive for his killing. Homicide Bureau Region One is investigating.

The death of a 37-year-old Aranguez man pushed the murder toll to 36 last night as he was sitting in his car just outside his home at the corner of the Aranguez Savannah Road and Garden Road.

According to reports, at around 8.30 last night, Dave Babwah when he was approached from behind by a gunman who shot him several times in the head before escaping in a waiting vehicle.

Police have yet to establish a motive for the killing.
