Penal schoolgirl missing

A 13-year-old student of the Penal Secondary School has been reported missing by her father.

Ashwanie Jagan was last seen at her Suchit Trace, Penal, home around 7.15 am on Tuesday. She was supposed to attend classes on Tuesday, but when she failed to return home her worried father, Wendell Jagan, made a report to the Penal police around 9.40 pm.

Ashwanie was last seen wearing her school uniform – a white shirt, brown skirt and white shoes. She is of East Indian descent, five foot two inches tall, and medium-built, with a brown complexion and shoulder-length black hair. Anyone with information on where she might be is asked to contact the police at 999, 555, 911 or any police station, or call 800-TIPS.
