Ethan Wong wasted little time in dispatching Sebastine Byng in straight sets yesterday on another rain-affected day at the RBC Junior Tennis Tournament, Trinidad Country Club, Maraval.

Wong, competing in the Boys Under-14 division, blanked Byng 4-0, 4-0 as action continued in the round robin phase.

Also among the Under-14s, Shae Millington took care of Joel Augustine 4-2, 4-2; Luca Shamsi beat Christopher Roberts 4-0, 4-1; Saqiv Williams edged Nicholas Ready 5-3, 5-4; Thomas Chung beat Ethan-Jude Trestrail 4-2, 4-1.

In the Boys Under-10 round robin category, Matthew Guedez had little trouble in getting past Jordell Chapman 6-1. Logan Hamel-Smith had a similar performance against Aasir Elder, prevailing 6-1.

Yeshowah Smith beat Lucas Corbie 6-4; Lucas Small beat Jarryd John 6-2;, Jayden Mitchell beat Adam Mackenzie 6-1; Varel Wilson got past Deron Dumas 6-0.

In the girls equivalent, Eva Pasea held off Briann Harricharan 6-5 and Arya Siewrattan cruised past Em-Miryan Smith 6-0.
