Privatise PTSC now

THE EDITOR: PTSC is the worst public transport service. Drivers feel they are there simply to drive buses without any regard for the travelling public. All they care about is speeding to and fro to get back to base so that their shifts finish early. Then they can go drive their maxis or taxis? There are inexperienced mechanics and a management who doesn’t have a clue about transportation management. Buses are sent out defective — bells not working, doors not working, leaking roofs that leave seats wet. There is also a lack of signage so passengers need to be psychic. There are customer service representatives who never know anything, including what is customer service. Buses do not show up and the public waits two hours and more on a bus without any information being forwarded. Privatise now.
