Double robbery in Sangre Grande

A doubles vendor and a grocery store were robbed in one swoop this morning as bandits struck close to 5am on Picton Road, Sangre Grande.

According to reports, bandits broke into the storage area of Roderick Chuck's grocery store, evading a camera that was installed.

At around 5am, a doubles vendor who conducts his business on the compound in front the grocery on Sundays, arrived in his wagon for an early setup. Bandits, in a seemingly orchestrated plan, beat up the man and loaded the stolen goods in the wagon before making their escape. Police are investigating.
