Handyman wins lotto in Rio Claro

The second lucky Lotto Plus winner for November has claimed his prize of $2 million, which he won on November 25. The prize is tax free.

A press release from NLCB quoted the new multi-millionaire as saying, “When I found out I won, I reacted normal, but my family was very surprised. I’m just relieved now that I have a cheque. I’m a regular player and I play every week at this same location but that day, I could feel that something special was going to happen when I played. I can’t wait to buy a house for my family and also, to invest some of these winnings!”

The release said the winner is a handyman in his mid-50s who is married with two children.

He bought a ticket with numbers he chose at Taurian Bar, Naparima Mayaro Road in Rio Claro. He matched all six winning numbers – 14, 20, 23, 26, 29 and Powerball 2.
