Man killed in Tunapuna

A 34-year-old Laventille man who was living in Tobago for the past two years and who returned to the country one month ago was shot dead in Tunapuna on Saturday night.

Police reports revealed that at about 9 pm on Saturday, residents of Green Street, Tunapuna, heard gunshots and when they checked they found the body of Jonathan Gobin in a drain.

The body was taken to the Forensic Science Centre. Police are yet to establish a motive for the killing. Gobin’s death pushed to murder toll to 452.
