Boodram's assets worth $12M

Escaped prisoner Vicky Boodram is reportedly worth about $12 million based on her assets and financial records. Police sources said yesterday that when Boodram was arrested and charged with 170 fraud offences, an application was made to the court for an order granting investigators access to her financial records.

According to a police source yesterday Boodram allegedly obtained more than $5 million from members of the public. She also has a property valued at over $5 million. She is also the owner of a Mercedes Benz. Boodram promised to repay those who made allegations against her prior to being arrested by the Fraud Squad. She was before the courts on 148 fraud charges for alleged offences including money-laundering, uttering forged documents and larceny by trick.
