Nine new speed guns

Minister of Works and Transport Rohan Sinanan yesterday signed an order for nine additional speed guns, raising the total number to 15.

In a release sent to the media yesterday, the ministry said the new guns will be put to immediate use.

It said this additional equipment is part of several road-safety initiatives, and the public will be apprised of others.

The addition of the speed guns is part of the ministry’s continued effort to ensure the public complies with the current speed limit and traffic laws.
