Fulham take Islandwide Over-40 T20 title

Fulham Sports were crowned champions of the Over-40 Division Two category in the Bert’s Sports Centre Islandwide Over-40/Over-50 T20 Competition at Lange Park in Chaguanas, last Sunday.

LTT scored a modest 65 all out, before Fulham got to 66 for six to claim the title. Fulham won $5000, a trophy and 15 medals for the achievement. LTT did not leave empty-handed, claiming $2500 and 15 medals for their second place finish.

On Sunday, East Masters will play D and D Legends in the Berts Over-40 Division One final at the same venue. Some of the top players that will line up for East Masters are former West Indies batsman Lincoln Roberts, Brent Lezama, Emerson Williams and Bobby Solozano. Playing for D and D Legends are Richard Siewchan, Deonarine Deyal, Dennis Ramdhan and Steve Redhead. The mayor of Chaguanas Gopual Boodhan is expected to attend the final.
