Bon Accord seek U-15 Atlantic Football title

Perennial Atlantic National Primary Schools Football League princes Bon Accord Government waltzed into the semi-finals of the Boys Under-15 division.

The Tobago football starlets shut out St Mary’s Government 4-0 in quarter-final action at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya, on Friday, last.

Malik Wilson put the champions ahead after only six minutes, and three minutes later Demario Forde doubled the advantage.

Wilson who was later named Most Valuable Player, notched his double in the 23rd minute, and Kyron Melville completed the scoring. The Tobagonian youngsters will now meet Caroni champs Enterprise in one semi-final at the Dwight Yorke Stadium, Bacolet on Thursday from 10 am. The other semi-final will be contested between East St George champions Arima Government and St Patrick’s Brighton AC at the Manny Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella, also on Thursday from 10 am.

In the Under-12 age group semi-finals, Port of Spain champions Eastern Boys Government take on Tobago starlets Montgomery at the Hasely Crawford Stadium today from 10 am, and St George East winners La Pastora Government meet the St Patrick winners Siparia RC at the Manny Ramjohn Stadium also from 10 am.

In girls Under-15 action, Maloney Government, the St George East winners will travel to sister-isle Tobago to meet Scarborough RC at the Dwight Yorke Stadium, tomorrow, while Port of Spain champs St Agnes AC play Caroni winners Longdenville Government at the Hasely Crawford Stadium. Both games are scheduled to kick off at 10 am.
