Man shot dead in Laventille

The murder of a 31-year-old man has brought the toll for the year to 412.

Kendall Telesford, of Erica Street, Laventille, was shot dead near his home at about 1.40 am yesterday.

Police said residents heard gunshots and called the Besson Street police, who found Telesford’s body lying on the side of the road. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
