Robbery victim still alive

KEVON Richardson, the man who was robbed and shot at an Arima bar on Friday, is alive and in stable condition at hospital.

Newsday reported on Saturday that Richardson was killed in the incident.

On Friday, at about 3.15 pm at a bar at Cocorite Road, Arima, three gunmen stormed in and began robbing patrons. Richardson was robbed of a thick gold chain and shot.

Two other unidentified men were also shot before the gunmen escaped in a car parked nearby. The three victims were later hospitalised. Investigations are continuing.

Newsday regrets the error.
