$40M drug bust in South

Police in South Trinidad arrested two men on Saturday night and seized $40 million worth of cocaine from a house in South Oropouche.

According to police reports, at about 7.10 pm, a party of officers led by ASP Shiraz Ali of the Princes Town Police Station received certain information which led them to a house in Redbrick Trace, South Oropouche.

There they searched the property and came across 28.86 kilos of cocaine and arrested the two suspects.
