Ruiz is top fighter at Marabella boxing card

Kyleron Ruiz was the top boxer when the Trinidad and Tobago Boxing Association and ACTN TV hosted a boxing card at the Cosmic Boxing Gym in Marabella on Saturday.

Ruiz, representing Potential Boxing Gym, won a 69kg contest by RSC (referee stopped contest) over Joshua Sylvester of Biomel Boxing Gym. For his efforts, Ruiz was named Figher of the Night.

There were six bouts on the card which was held to raise funds. Nyrell Hosein (Biomel Boxing Gym) was also victorious as he defeated Richie Ralph (YTC Conquerors) by unanimous decision in a 50kg contest.

In other results, Randhir Harry (Fine Line Fight Factory) defeated Densil Massy (Biomel Boxing Gym) by unanimous decision in a 64kg bout; while in the same weight class, Shawn Joseph (World Class Boxing Gym) won by points over Jesse Beckles (Cosmic Boxing Gym).

Josiah Hunte (YTC Conquerors) won by split decision over Nathan Debesette (Biomel) in a 69kg bout and Tyrone St Clair (Siparia Boxing Gym) also won by a split decision over Shakir Fleming (Cosmic) in a 81kg match.

There was live entertainment as well for spectators.
