Aguiton’s photos on show at Hilton

The Hilton Trinidad and Conference Centre, in connection with Horizons Art Gallery is hosting an exhibition of photographs by William Aguiton which opens today at its St Ann’s location.

William “Bill” Aguiton, HMB, retired from Hilton International in August 1999 after 37 years as a hotelier, but long before he began that career, he was deeply involved with photography.

Over the years he has had a number of successful exhibitions in Trinidad and Curacao, and completed several commercial assignments.

He is well known for his glamour portraits and his photo art is best demonstrated by his macro-photography of flowers.

The exhibition, titled William Aguiton, Retrospective: Life in Photographs, opens from 7 pm – 8.30 pm. It continues until October 22.
