Inclement weather forces rescheduling of Red Force trial match

Inclement weather, which contributed to a waterlogged outfield, has forced the postponement of the practice match for cricketers bidding for picks on the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force team for the forthcoming Regional Four Day Tournament.

The game, featuring a Marlon Richards XI against an Imran Khan XI, was due to start yesterday and run until Friday. However, the fixture will now be a three-day affair, beginning tomorrow and going until Saturday at the National Cricket Centre, Couva. Play will begin at 10 am each day.

Cricket Operations Manager of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB), Dudnath Ramkessoon, said heavy rain left the ground very wet and it would need a couple days to dry out.
