St Mary’s claimed only their second win in seven matches, in front of their home fans at the St Mary’s Ground, St Clair.

Trey Lamont broke the deadlock in the 21st minute, while Tyrese Spicer doubled the lead in the 38th.

Ethan Bonaparte halved the deficit in the 53rd but Gabriel Nanton restored the two-goal advantage for the “Saints” in the 64th. And Kevon Alonso completed the win for the hosts, in the 82nd.

At the St Anthony’s Ground in Westmoorings, national youth team midfielder Che Benny and striker Jaydon Prowell were among the scorers for the “Tigers”, while captain Dez Jones got the lone item for Fyzabad.

League action will continue tomorrow.
