Shiva Boys spank Fatima in SSFL Premier Division

The Southern schools are taking this season's Premier Division of the Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) by force as the top three teams, Shiva Boys, Presentation San Fernando and Naparima College are level on 16 points after seven rounds. Shiva Boys remained on top of the table due to a superior goal difference (+12), as they defeated Fatima 4-1 at Mucurapo.

Pres San'do kept pace with Shiva, yet again, as they managed to secure all three points when they travelled to Fyzabad and battled to a 3-2 victory. Naps entertained St Mary's College at Lewis Street in San Fernando and defeated the visitors 2-0. Presentation (+9) are currently second while Naps sit third with a goal difference of +8.

St Augustine (13 points) moved up to fourth on the table after they trashed Speyside 5-1 at home. St Anthony's (11 pts) slipped to seventh as they failed to maintain the gap after they drew 3-3 with Queen’s Royal College (QRC) in St Clair.

San Juan North went Tobago and got a 3-0 win when they faced off against Signal Hill, moving up to sixth with 11 points and remaining the tournament's only undefeated team.

Trinity Moka hosted their rivals Trinity East in Moka where they came away 2-1 victors while St Benedict's College shocked Caparapichaima East 3-1 in Carapichaima.
