Networking series for business women

Eventure Meetings & Events in collaboration with Conventus Consultinc will be hosting a four-part networking series – Women In Networking (WIN), one Thursday monthly over the next four months, beginning September 28.

Pioneered by Michelle Low Chew Tung, founder of Eventure and Charlene Pedro, founder of Conventus Consultinc and president of the Association of Female Entrepreneurs in TT (AFETT), the event aims to provide women entrepreneurs and professionals with practical approaches to build effective networks for professional and personal growth.

The four-part series will allow participants to join other like-minded professionals and entrepreneurs to develop their networking strategy utilising tools and techniques that will build or improve their networking activities.

Participants will learn the core networking skills to help them become more effective in their ability to influence and communicate, create a slick elevator pitch, and understand how to build valuable contacts and alliances.

Two leaders/influencers in the business environment will present to participants.

The following topics will be addressed:

September 28 - Creating a Successful Networking Strategy

October 12 - Power networking: How to Work the Room

November 16 - How to follow up to build relationships

December 14 - Using Social Media as a Networking Tool.
