TT third at Caribbean Junior Jumping Challenge

The Pan American Equestrian Confederation (PAEC) hosted its first ever Caribbean Junior Jumping Challenge from August 17-19 at the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) is Savannah, Georgia, USA. Trinidad and Tobago was among seven countries with two riders each that participated in this inaugural event which serves to provide much needed exposure and experience to young riders across the Caribbean.

Jordanne Brown and Hadley Rahael were selected by the Trinidad and Tobago Equestrian Association (TTEA) to represent TT in the competition, and the pair rode superbly to land TT in the top spot at the end of the 1st day of competition – with Jordanne taking 2nd place overall and Hadley copping the 4th place spot.

Following the second day of competition, the TT jumpers were edged by the Bermudian and Cayman Islands riders to slide to 3rd position overall. The other participating countries were Barbados (4th place), USA (5th place), Antigua (6th place), and Barbados (7th place).
