Arouca teen murdered at garage

An Arouca teen was gunned down at the auto repair shop where he worked yesterday morning. Police said at around 8 am yesterday, Richard Francis, 17, was changing the brakes of a customer’s car at Williams Trace, Arouca when he was approached from behind by a gunman who shot him five times at the back of his head before escaping.

Customers and other people fled upon hearing the gunshots, but returned shortly after to see Francis lying face down in a pool of blood. Members of the Arouca Police Station and the Homicide Bureau Region 2 are continuing investigations.
