Mom stabbed to death while trying to stop fight involving daughter

A 44-year-old woman is now dead after she tried to stop a fight between her daughter and a 17-year-old girl.

Police said Tabatha Richards, 44, of Sixth Avenue, Malick was outside her home with her daughter, Missy, 18 at about midnight on Monday. Missy got into an argument with the 17-year-old neighbour and as the argument intensified, the girl grabbed a knife and began stabbing Missy.
