Anand remains in police custody

Former AG Anand Ramlogan

Former Attorney General Anand Ramlogan remains in police custody. He has not been charged.

A team of officers led by acting Deputy Police Commissioner Harold Phillip is currently meeting with the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

Ramlogan spent the night in the Port-of-Spain CID and told officers that he was comfortable. His attorneys, Pamela Elder, Gerald Ramdeen and Wayne Sturge have been keeping him company while he awaits word from the office of the DPP.
