Sweet City Woman shows some spark

The lesser lights were seen at gallops at Santa Rosa Park, Arima, on Sunday as trainers geared up for the big day - Independence Day and the Massy United Insurance Trinidad Derby.

No runner in either the Derby or Massy Remittance Independence Cup were seen out.

But Sweet City Woman was best of the lot, galloping over 600 metres to be clocked in 37.3 seconds.

Another good showingt came from Al Kahina who went through 1000 metres clocked in one minute 04.3 seconds.

Good runs also came from Why Kapalua whio was timed in one minute 05.1 seconds over the 1000 metres trip, while the golden pair - Golden Bid and Gold Express and travelled over the same trip to be timed in one minute 05.2 seconds.

Best gallop over 800 metres was put in by The Tactician who was timed in 51.0 seconds.
