Police find gun, ammo, coke

Western Division police officers found and seized a quantity of cocaine and a firearm with one round of ammunition on Sunday.

According to police, officers were conducting an exercise between 5 am and 10 am in Diego Martin, when they received information which led them to an open field on Savannah Road #2.

Police searched the area and found a plastic bag hidden inside a tree trunk. When they opened the bag, police found the gun and three grammes of cocaine.

No one was arrested in connection to the find.
