Canadian visa process changes

An urgent notice from The Visa Section of High Commission of Canada to Trinidad and Tobago issued yesterday, advised of changes to Method of Payment with immediate effect.

Processing fees for all applications submitted to the Visa Section and the Visa Application Centre (VAC) can only be paid online now.

Effective immediately, payments at Scotiabank are discontinued but Scotiabank Receipts or Bank Drafts will be accepted until September 29, 2017.

Jacinthe Roberge-Binovec, Immigration Programme Manager commented: "The change is as a result of the modernisation strategy of the Government of Canada”.
