CAPE results next week

Students who wrote the 2017 Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) will have to wait a few more days for their results according to Education Minister, Anthony Garcia.

In an interview today, Garcia said they have been assured that the results will be released next week.

“It will first be released to the Ministry of Education then to the students later in the week. We want to assure the integrity of the exams. They want to ensure that when students get their grades, the grades will accurately reflect their performance in the exams.”

In a release, the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) said candidates who wrote CXC examinations in May/June this year, results for all examinations will be released on Monday 14 August to Ministries of Education.

“The Council wishes to express its sincerest gratitude to all Chief Examiners, Examining Committees, markers, CXC staff, clericals and all who participated in the marking exercise in 2017. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.”

The CXC said the results will be available to candidates online at: http://results.cxc.org, and on the CXC Connect Mobile App on Friday 18, August.
