Double Murder in Gonzales

Two men were killed in an early morning shooting in Gonzales, Port of Spain yesterday. According to reports, at around 3 am yesterday morning, Trevor Wilson, 21, of Blackett Hill Gonzales was asleep at his home when three masked gunmen kicked in the front door, entered the bedroom and forced him into a waiting vehicle. Wilson was then taken to the home of his acquaintance, Atiba Thomas 36, also of Blackett hill and was forced to lure Thomas out of his home. Both men were shot and killed.

Residents reported hearing loud explosions and contacted the police. Officers of the PoS Division responded and discovered the body of Wilson in the doorway with a single gunshot wound to the head and Thomas' bullet-riddled body lying motionless in the kitchen of his home. Officers of the Homicide Bureau (Region II) led by Sergeant Reyes.
